Short version: Play fair, don't abuse the service, and you're welcome here. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google — contact them for billing disputes. Theme packs are non-transferable.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Trivia Blitz (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms apply to all users globally.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

3. Account

You can play without an account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google for cross-device sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or other users' accounts.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
  • Submit abuse reports that are false or misleading.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

5. In-app purchases

The App offers optional paid theme packs ("Purchases"). All Purchases are processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). By making a Purchase, you also agree to Apple's or Google's terms of service, as applicable.

5.1 Non-consumable nature

Purchased theme packs are non-consumable — once purchased, they are available to you indefinitely on any device you sign in to with the same Apple ID or Google Account used at the time of purchase. You can restore purchases from within the App at any time.

5.2 No resale or transfer

Purchases are for your personal use only. You may not sell, transfer, or sublicense purchased theme packs.

5.3 Refunds

We do not process refunds directly. All refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google, as applicable. See our Refund Policy for guidance.

5.4 Price changes

Prices may change. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the price you pay.

6. Intellectual property

All content in the App — including trivia questions, theme art, UI design, and code — is owned by Trivia Blitz or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our express written permission.

Your display name and any content you submit is still owned by you, but by using the App you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it in connection with providing the service (e.g., showing your name on the leaderboard).

7. Leaderboards and game data

Leaderboard scores and game history are stored on our servers. We reserve the right to remove or adjust scores that appear to result from cheating, automation, or other unfair means.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of trivia questions, availability of the service, or fitness for a particular purpose. Trivia questions may contain inaccuracies; they are for entertainment only.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trivia Blitz and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will note the "last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, display a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App owner operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
